What would history be without art? Creation has documented our existence on this planet. Creativity was acknowledged to be important enough to include incentivization in the U.S. Constitution. Yet, art and artists are continuously considered self-indulgent and are wildly undervalued and underfunded. Small donations can mean the difference between an artist giving up on creation or continuing to add value and proof of our rich and varied ever changing culture.
